Interaction Design, UX and general nerdery – straight from the Rossi's mouth.
I love these. Some people like skeuomorphic design because maybe if it looks more like reality, it feels easier to use. Others think it’s a waste of space and purity of shapes and UI is best. I like it when people mix both (like in the example where suddenly you have a folding effect, totally well-placed, not getting in the way of anything, but pretty delightful to the user).
